There is a medium-sized enclosure, and at least one or two steps of new terracing all the way around the ground. There are also several newly built turnstiles which are the REAL thing - just what you would see at a league ground and there is a newly built pavilion behind one goal. The whole place is compact and very smart looking. They don't have a social club but use the nearby Ex-Servicemens Club for aftermatch hospitality (the only drinking establishment that there seems to be in the village).

Central Park is another basic Fife football ground, surrounded on three sides by a mesh fence. The standing areas are predominantly grassed, although a new covered enclosure, the only shelter in the ground, was built a few years ago to replace a rather ramshackle predecessor.

Club Information:

Kelty got small crowds (around 30) prior to the OVD Cup final appearance in 1999, but whether or not this has awoken interest in the team in the town I'm not sure.

Ground Details: There is a recently-laid terrace on the opposite side of the new covered enclosure replacing the dirt hill that was there beforehand. There used to be a huge hole in the perimeter fence that was useful for free admission from the Aldi car park, but this has been fixed up. The Canniepairt is one of my favourite grounds in Junior football, I must say, despite the fact that only three sides of the ground can be used - one end is a very large hedge. There is a big stand that runs down one half of the pitch, while right in the corner of the ground is the club's changing room block. A teabar and toilets can also be found here. The remaining two sides of the ground are different again; the side is banked grass, backed with more trees, while the other end is completely open, and is hard-standing.

Club Information:
Tayport have a core support of around 150 for home games (although it can be a bit higher) and have a large travelling support as well (a good busload for most matches). As detailed below, they have enjoyed phenominal success to date. They only joined the Juniors in 1990. Incidentally, the sides who pipped them to the titles of 1997 and 1998 were the now defunct St. Joseph's (by 3pts) and Dundee North End (by 2pts). 2006-07 was Tayport's worst ever Junior season, going by league position.
