Locos joined the Highland League from the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association in 2001, although in their final season in the grade all they accumulated was a 4th place in the Stewart Milne Homes North East Premier League (now rebranded as the all-inclusive Printagraph North Premier Division) and the North Inter-Regional Cup. Average attendances in the Juniors were around 100, but since the switch to Senior football, crowds have been high. The average for 2008-09 is around 500.

Inverurie Locos enter the Scottish Cup automatically.

Getting There

Directions by road: From Aberdeen, follow A96 to Inverurie. Do not enter Inverurie by first roundabout but continue along A96 to second roundabout and take third exit, follow this road to next roundabout, take second exit (leaving Morrisons petrol station on your left). Continue along this road until next roundabout, and continue straight on (second exit), follow this road short distance and then take first right, onto Harlaw Road and Harlaw Park is on your left, about 1/4 mile further on.
