Locos
joined the Highland League from the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football
Association in 2001, although in their final season in the grade all they accumulated
was a 4th place in the Stewart Milne Homes North East Premier League (now rebranded
as the all-inclusive Printagraph North Premier Division) and the North Inter-Regional
Cup. Average attendances in the Juniors were around 100, but since the switch
to Senior football, crowds have been high. The average for 2008-09 is around 500.
