The main stand at Mackessack Park is very smart and modern, with the rest of the ground consisting of expanses of grass. The floodlights here are absolutely massive and feel very out of place.

Rothes currently get gates of around 100-150. The village has a population of 1200 though. Although there was Junior representation in the town already (Rothes Victoria and Rothes JFC - Rothes Decimals were only Junior from 1971 to 1988), they formed in 1938 with the sole purpose of joining the Highland League.

Rothes enter the Scottish Cup automatically.

Getting There

Directions by road: From the south on the A96 go through Keith then fork left onto the A95. Continue straight on at Mulben (B9103). At the end of this road turn left onto B9105. Entering Rothes take the first exit at the roundabout and immediately on the left is the track leading to the ground.
