| Getting There Directions
by road: Hamilton Park sits just off the A77 at the north end of the town. Coming
from the north, follow signs for Girvan and turn left up the slip road just after
passing the town boundary signs. From
the south, take the A77 through Girvan, following signs for Ayr, and turn right
onto the slip road as you pass under the railway bridge at the end of town. There's
a google map on our new website Nearest
Railway Station: Girvan (next door) Bus
routes: Stagecoach West Scotland no. 358 and 360 (both connecting Ayr, Maybole,
Girvan, Stranraer and Portpatrick) stop within 300 yards of the ground, further
down Vicarton Street. James King No. 359 also connects the railway station with
the villages south east to Newton Stewart (more useful when we were in the SoSL). |
