Port Glasgow began playing
at Battery Park in Greenock in April 2011 and will remain there for approximately
one season. They had been with Greenock Juniors at Ravenscraig Stadium but it
has been shut for refurbishment ahead of the 2012 Commonwealth Games. Both Port
and Greenock will return to Ravenscraig, at which point Port Glasgow hope to move
into a new community fieldturf stadium at Parklea in Port Glasgow. Social

Information: Port Glasgow are currently groundsharing wirth Greenock
Juniors after their previous home was flattened to make way for housing. The development
has laid derelict ever since howevr. The club were originally a Juvenile side,
turning Junior in 1949. There had previously been a successful Junior club in
the town, Port Glasgow Athletic Juniors who existed from 1896 to 1939. 2001
