Two
views of Gasworks Park from 'Grumberry'
The
Albert used to play at Robert Smellie Momorial Park in the town (it has been flattened
for a new school) but are now involved in a groundshare with Larkhall Thistle.
Albert will be at Gasworks Park until the end of the 2010-11 season, at which
point they will be returning to a new ground near to the site of their old home.
Entry to Gasworks Park is at either end of the ground, with the home fans tending
to come in at the clubhouse end. A covered enclosure runs down just under two
thirds of one side and provides cover for a good couple of hundred. All other
parts of the ground are pretty much flat grassed areas. Social

by road:
From north (B7078 - Carlisle Road): Follow main road into the north
end of Larkhall. Take the 2nd main turn off to the right into the town (this is
at a crossroads). About 150 yards along this street, on the left hand side, is
Gasworks Park. Alternative
Directions By Car: From
Glasgow, take the M74 to Junction 7 (Larkhall/Lanark), from the motorway carry
straight on for two miles and the park is on the left just after the lights at
